Tru SIM, Local Anywhere, GSM Roaming

What’s next for Tru in 2012? That’s certainly the question of the year.

Pictured above is my Truphone SIM Card Pack from last year. One noticeable thing about the cover is its Truphone branding. With the new branding to Tru that came to pass in 2010, one cannot help but wonder if they aren’t planning on updating the covers soon.

I’m sure they are (if they haven’t already).

Then there are the features. Tru has been very mum about features as of late, telling customers that new plans or new features are “coming soon” with few exact dates or time frames to speak of. When there are dates, they’re mostly just “planned” dates and so do not hold any official water. There have been a number of instances over the past couple of years where these planned dates have come and gone with no changes to speak of.

So what do you hope to see come to Tru in 2012 and in the years to come? More features for Tru App? Better plans for Tru SIM? Sound off in the comments!
