LG Optimus 4X HD, European Phone Launch, Android Phone Release

If you’re living in Europe and you’re one who has pushed all thoughts of the Samsung Galaxy S III and the upcoming iPhone 5 from your mind and would rather focus on using LG’s 4.7-inch Optimus 4X HD with your Tru SIM or Tru App service, then you’ll be happy to know that the Ice Cream Sandwich beast will be launching in no less than 11 European locales this month.

The company has confirmed that it’s right on schedule with the launch, first launching in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Great Britain and Italy. Six other countries will be receiving the 720p Android 4.0 smartphone later.

According to the translated press release, LG also has a “major surprise” in store regarding the device’s launches, although details appear to be on the scarce side for the time being.

Here’s hoping that maybe, just maybe, this “major surprise” happens to be a built-in coffeemaker. While we probably have more of a chance of winning the lottery, we just can’t seem to get that wish out of our heads.
