Google Nexus 7, Tablet VoIP, Tru App on Nexus 7

In a bit of a literal poetic gesture to its fans (shown above), Google announced that it had started shipping the Nexus 7, its first-ever branded tablet, powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

While the Nexus 7 is a few weeks old, the search giant hadn’t started shipping the pre-orders until now. It’s a great time to celebrate if you’ve decided to order one. If not, you might want to get on it, as the Nexus 7 is one of the best tablets you can buy.

Despite the fact that the current version of the Tru VoIP app does not work on the Nexus 7 slate, the temporary setback hasn’t stopped Tru users from pre-ordering the tablet so they can take advantage of the application’s future version when it is released.

Were you one of those who pre-ordered the Nexus 7?
