Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, New Version of Android, Develop Android App

If you’re rocking an American Android-powered Samsung device, you’ve probably been wondering when your device will receive that elusive Android 4.1 upgrade from Samsung (unless of course you’ve rooted or modded your device).

Well, many of you don’t have to wonder any longer, as Samsung has just made it official by posting a detailed schedule of the company’s impending Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade for its devices. The schedule has been posted below, highlighting the GSM carrier phones that are compatible with global GSM SIM cards.

As you can see, the Galaxy S III with both AT&T and T-Mobile have been scheduled for the upgrade in the United States. No word yet on devices originally released in the United Kingdom or Australia, but Jelly Bean can’t be too far away for you either. We’ll be sure to keep our eyes open and keep you up to date.
