Samsung Galaxy S IV, Galaxy S4, New Galaxy Smartphone

We’ve been hearing an awful lot about the Samsung Galaxy S IV lately. Recent rumors have so far pointed to the as-of-yet announced smartphone as having a 13-megapixel camera and have also hinted that the phone could be powered by an 8-core processor.

This latest rumor comes from SamMobile, and states that we should be hearing a lot more about the new flagship — known internally as “Project J” — by April. In fact, we could even see an announcement as soon as April if the rumors do pan out. This would mark the 11-month anniversary of the Galaxy S III‘s release, which would make sense if Samsung plans to continue with a one-year refresh cycle for their devices.

A Samsung company official told the Korean Times last September that the Galaxy S 4 or S IV will keep the “inspired by nature” design as its predecessor and the Galaxy S Duos and possibly receive a bump from a 4.8? to a 5? display, though we haven’t heard any rumors since then regarding screen size.
