Nimbuzz Messenger, NimbuzzOut VoIP, Nimbuzz IM

Despite the fact that Symbian may be losing ground to Windows Phone in its home country of Finland, Nokia’s OS still has plenty of life left in it, and a new update from the good people at Nimbuzz helps breathe new life into the Symbian experience.

The new Nimbuzz version — announced by Nimbuzz via their blog — bears the numerical moniker of 3.5, and brings a number of new features to the existing experience, including a much better integrated “Friend Search” function, which enables you to search a database of over 100 million Nimbuzz users worldwide and find your friends with a click of a button.

The new version also brings with it some Twitter improvements, now bringing Twitter to the Nimbuzz dashboard, and some UI tweaks, such as colored chat tabs for touch devices, an emoticons grid, and more. In addition, version 3.5 also solves a pesky “Certification Error” that had come up in the previous version due to a Nokia security certificate problem.

The new application is now available for download via the Nokia store for Symbian users.
