Viber App for BlackBerry 7, VoIP Apps for BB7, Voice Over IP and Messaging Free

Nimbuzz isn’t the only VoIP app for BlackBerry to receive an update this past weekend; Viber for the BlackBerry platform has updated to version 2.3.19 in App World. Viber — which is currently available in English, Arabic, and Spanish languages — enables BlackBerry users to connect to the more than 140 million Viber users across all platforms, turning on free calls, as well as free text and picture messaging.

Version 2.3.19 brings a lot of features to the BlackBerry camp, including the ability to share Viber stickers with friends, emoticons for messaging, and location sharing. In addition, the update also brings with it an enhanced UI, improved chat screen, new option to view the location of friends, and an overall improved performance.

Additional features and fixes include:

  • Improved conversation screen for Stripes view
  • Optimized scrolling for message viewing
  • Connect with your friends in group conversations of up to 40 participants
  • Improved Facebook integration
  • Bug fixes

The new Viber for BlackBerry update is now available for download in the BlackBerry App World store.
