This update nearly slipped through the cracks unnoticed, but for those of you who have been waiting to get your hands (and your fingers) on the Fring app with your iPhone 5, wait no longer; the VoIP app is finally supported natively on Apple’s wide range of devices, including the iPad and the latest version of the iPhone.

In addition to supporting all iPad devices and the iPhone 5, the latest version of Fring, version 6.1.0, now adds phone number registration (instead of username / password), and brings multi-device login options, allowing you to use the same phone number login on any number of devices.

The developers have also made some minor improvements to the user interface, adding a new horizontal screen scroll feature, and they’ve also included the ability to see all call members in group call history.

The usual bag of fixes is also incorporated in this release. The new version of Fring is now available in the App Store.
