Rebtel VoIP, Rebtel App, Rebtel Free Calling

Rebtel, the world’s second most popular VoIP application behind Skype, has just received a minor update that has been rolled out to users running the Android operating system.

The update carries the version moniker of 2.5.2 and fixes a “critical calling bug” that’s been plaguing the app since version 2.5.1 was released, though the Rebtel developers did not specify exactly what problems the bug had been causing for users. Version 2.5.2 also includes the same features as previous versions of the app, including the auto reload after phone restart and improvements of version 2.5.1. In addition, the application still supports the HD voice quality and the French and Spanish translations that were all rolled out in version 2.5.0.

The update is now available in the Google Play store. Have you downloaded it yet?
