Line for Windows Phone 8, Line calling and messaging app, VoIP apps for WP8

If you’ve been using Windows Phone 8 and have been disheartened to hear that LINE did not support the new OS, fear not, as the latest update, released today on the Windows Phone Store, now supports WP8 in all its beautiful Modern UI glory.

The update carries the numerical moniker of version 2.0 and follows closely in the footsteps of another update from Japan-based developer Naver just released for the Android operating system.

In addition to the new modern UI support, the update also brings “strengthened stability” with an improved “database structure” according to the application changelog. It doesn’t look as if any other changes were made for this version, but the support for Windows Phone 8 is definitely a very welcome addition.

The update is now available in the Windows Phone Store. Have you downloaded it yet?
