Line for iPod, VoIP for iPhone, Internet Calling on iPad

A new update out of Japan has pushed Naver Corporation’s popular LINE internet calling and messaging application to a point more parallel with its Android counterpart.

The new update, carrying the moniker of version 3.5.0, has added the same chat room photo enhancement to the application that Android users have been enjoying for the past four days. Users now have the ability to send several photos at once from the chat room rather than just one at a time. In addition, users can now attach several photos at once on the Timeline.

LINE recently surpassed 100 million users and has certainly added a great many features since then as it looks to expand its presence all over the world. The application is also available for Windows Phone 8 and is the only major VoIP provider aside from Skype that has a Modern UI-inspired application available for Windows 8 as well.

The new update is now available in the Apple App Store.
