Viber Application, Voice calling software, free broadband calls

Enjoying video and voice calls with your social network buddies is a snap with the Viber VoIP and instant messaging application for Android and Apple iPhone smartphones; it greatly opens the ability to stay in touch with your friends whether you’re connected to a Wi-Fi or a cellular network.

To get started with connecting your accounts, simply make sure you have the latest version of the Viber app for either Android or iPhone downloaded to your device.

Linking social networks is simple and does not require registering for a Viber account

Thankfully, the developers made it simple to set up from the beginning. You don’t have to register to use the software; the app will register your phone number as your Viber ID and also allows you to make and receive calls and messages using your friends’ phone numbers. Without having to take the time to register, the process becomes incredibly simple.

Once you have downloaded and set up your Viber service, you’re ready to connect your Twitter and Facebook accounts. To accomplish this task (which is also exceedingly simple), tap the “More” button on the bottom right hand side of the screen, marked in the red square in the screenshot below:

Tap “settings.” Now just tap “Connect to Facebook” or “Connect to Twitter,” log in using your respective account information, and you’re all set and social! Your Facebook and Twitter friends who have Viber will now show up under the Viber tab in “Contacts” and can be called or messaged for free.

Simply tap on the Facebook or Twitter options again to disconnect your accounts if you wish to do so in the future. View more information about Viber here and stay tuned for additional tutorials.
