Fring App for iOS, iPhone VoIP, iPad VoIP Apps

Users of iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch who are using the Fring App should be receiving a new update (version 6.2.0) that brings a new timeline UI with it.

The app has been undergoing a number of major changes and enhancements lately. Fring recently announced that it would be discontinuing support for older versions, specifically Symbian devices running versions previous to 7.2, Android devices using versions previous to 4.0, and pre-6.0 for iOS users. Those who are using these older versions should have already received a number of messages prompting them to upgrade.

Fring is also planning to release a version of its application for Windows Phone devices in the future as it continues to expand its reach beyond iOS, Android, and Symbian devices.

As far as the current version, users can expect the usual batch of various bug fixes to help the application run smoother and quicker. The new version is downloadable right now in the iTunes App Store.
