Nokia Lumia 920, Windows Phone 8, WP8 smartphone

If you’re one of the many who are rocking the Nokia Lumia 620, 820, or 920 with your global and travel SIM cards or VoIP or instant messaging apps and services, you’ll be happy to know that the Finnish company has just released a new update for the aforementioned Windows Phone 8-powered family of devices.

According to the changelog, the update brings a number of improvements, including better auto screen brightness / touch screen functionality, a few behind-the-scenes camera fixes, improved functionality when hooking up to the device via Bluetooth headset, and a number of other performance and stability enhancements, according to Nokia.

Nokia says that users can expect the new firmware update to roll out to devices “over the coming weeks” but can also perform a manual update by selecting the “phone update” option from the Windows Phone 8 device settings menu (if you’re not able to wait for the device to update on its own).
