Viber for WP8, Viber Windows Phone, WP VoIP and Messaging

If you’re using Viber for the Windows Phone 8 OS, you’ll be happy to know that a fix that has plagued users since the popular VoIP app was updated with VoIP calling last month has now been released.

The contacts appear to be syncing for us and for many users now, so we can look through our People app with the peace of mind of knowing that our friends and family will be there.

Viber has been doing a lot of work on its Windows Phone as of late. As previously mentioned, the company released the long-awaited VoIP functionality in April, and plans to release stickers in an upcoming version, though it has not specified when exactly that version would be showing up.

Now all we need is a fix for the battery issues that are also well known bugs within the app, and we’ll be good to go! We’ll keep our eyes open for more information on that update. In the meantime, be sure to treat yourself to the new Viber in the Windows Phone Store.
