Huawei, Huawei smartphones, Huawei phones

Oh, how we love unofficial leaks. If you’re looking to score a brand new Windows Phone to use with your various forms of communication, you might want to keep an eye out for the Huawei W2.

The W2 is believed to have been seen in a render shown below, which was leaked by evleaks. The Huawei W2 is the high-end sequel of the Ascend W1.

Huawei W2, Windows Phone 8, WP8

The photo shows the device running Windows Phone 8 in Chinese, and it could amount to be the thinnest WP8 device to date, with a thickness of only 7.7 mm with a 4.5 inch HD screen. The device has also been said to pack only a 4.3 inch screen according to a leak back in April, along with a Snapdragon S4 processor, 8 megapixel rear camera and 1GB RAM.

The device certainly looks as though it could be almost on par with the Nokia Lumia 920. It’s likely the 920 will be receiving its own sequel soon, but it’s always great to see more alternatives entering the market.
