KakaoTalk App, VoIP for Android, Social Applications

It’s been less than 24 hours since KakaoTalk’s last update for Android devices, but that hasn’t stopped the company from releasing its third update to its 100-million-user-strong messaging app in less than a week.

As with the other two recent updates, users won’t find too many new things to explore in version 3.8.7. In fact, this update simply pushes out an improvement to the messaging method for “certain types” of messages, though the company did not specify which types and we haven’t seen any noticeable improvements to the messaging. If you do, please let us know in the comments.

Otherwise, the latest version includes the same improvements in speed and usability as well as the bug fixes from the latter two versions. As KakaoTalk continues to grow in popularity and so the downloads increase, we expect some additional improvements will continue popping up very rapidly in the near future, and we’ll be keeping everyone in the loop on these improvements here on TruTower.

In the meantime, you can download the latest KakaoTalk Messenger version from Google Play.
