WP8 Windows Phone 8, Viber for Windows Phone 8, Viber Messaging VoIP

We’ve known stickers were coming to Viber for WP8 since March, and the day has finally arrived. The latest update has now been unleashed on the Windows Phone store.

In addition to the stickers, the update includes deeper integration between Viber Desktop and the Windows Phone app, as well as roll out support for emoticons.

Some of the additional features of the app include support for the Viber Desktop app on Windows and Mac, free HD calls, free text and photo messaging, phone switching, the ability to share photos on Viber from the device photo gallery, a group calling feature allowing users to connect with up to 40 friends in real-time, location sharing, a live tile, conversation pinning to Start screen, and lock screen notifications, along with the usual round of performance enhancements and bug fixes.

Speaking of the Windows Phone app, Viber has also announced that over 500,000 users have now downloaded the app on Microsoft’s OS every month, quite an impressive feat considering the app only launched on the platform a few months ago.

The app featuring its new sticker goodness is now available directly through the Windows Phone Store!
