WAVE Mobile Commicator, Push to Talk Apps, Business Push to talk

Twisted Pair Solutions, a recognized leader in mobile workforce communications for secure, real-time communication for mobile devices has announced today that it has added Private Call capability to its WAVE Mobile Communicator app available for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.

Private Call mode allows users to utilize “secure, one-to-one PTT capability with any other member of a WAVE communications system” and is being marketed as a “secure, reliable replacement” for Sprint’s decommissioned iDEN push to talk (PTT) network.

“The enterprise customer wants seamless communication, from radio systems to telephony systems to PTT systems to workforce apps,” said Tom Guthrie, Twisted Pair president and CEO. “WAVE is the only platform- and device-independent PTT solution proven to deliver secure, high-quality communications for the enterprise.”

Similar to Voxer PTT or Zello PTT, WAVE Mobile Communicator turns your smartphone or tablet into an instant communication PTT device. WAVE supports secure audio over multiple channels, however, and its new Private Call feature further differentiates WAVE when compared to other over-the-top (OTT) PTT solutions.

The WAVE PTT service can be deployed as an “on-premise enterprise solution” or as a “cloud service,” the latter of which Twisted Pair offers itself as an alternative called WAVE Connections, which is accessible over any data connection.
