Skype, Skype Cloud, Skype VoIP and IM

If you feel as though your life isn’t quite as connected as you’d like, you happen to travel frequently to areas without any kind of 2G, 3G, or 4G wireless signal whatsoever, or you find your self in a bit of a cornichon where Wi-Fi subscriptions are unbearably expensive, Skype has you covered.

The catch is, of course, that you have to be a Skype Premium subscriber. If you count yourself among these many users, you are deemed eligible for free Skype WiFi throughout the entire month of August.

Skype WiFi is available at more than 1 million hotspots worldwide and can be used via Windows desktop OSes as well as Windows 8, Mac OS X, Linux, iOS and Android.

Keep in mind, of course, that internet access will remain subject to the terms and conditions of the hotspot service provider through whom you’re connecting.

Skype has a history of providing certain perks to its Premium subscribers, and this is just the latest in such promotions. Sign up for Premium through the Skype website and discover even more promotions and news via our official Skype page.
