Tango App, Tango Games, Tango messaging

Tango has been releasing game after game this year, including heavy hitters like Blackjack Live and World at Arms for Tango. The company told us in August that it had 20-40 games coming out through the rest of the year.

To date, the company has launched 16 games with 12 partners, and has about 8-10 more games slated for release in 2013, which would put it well within its aforementioned goals. Tango tells us that most of these games are with new partners, including:

There’s also a mixture of some bad news in with this good news. We asked the Tango team if there were plans to extend their social gaming platform to Windows Phone 8 (the last time we heard anything on this was back in March). The team tells us that they still “do not have near term plans to bring Tango to the Windows Phone 8 platform” but says they are “definitely evaluating and keeping an eye on [the operating system]” for a possible future release.
