Fring calls, Fring friends, Fring messaging

Ever since Genband acquired Fring last month, it seems as though we’ve been getting a much higher frequency of updates for both Android and Apple versions of the app, which is a good thing.

The latest update to version 6.5.0 encompasses iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. The most notable addition is the latest version is the addition of South Sedan to the country calling list, extending low-cost international calling via the app’s fringOut feature even further.

Additionally, Fring users will now be able to answer incoming calls a lot faster thanks to the latest update, which should prevent quite of few of those pesky missed calls that weren’t actually missed. It would take a few seconds to answer incoming calls before, which meant some callers would hang up before the Fring user could accept due to app slowdowns, which should not be an issue now.

Other bug fixes round up the list of changes in the latest version of Fring, which is now available in iTunes.
