Truphone app, Truphone VoIP, Tru App Messaging

Despite assurances by Truphone that messaging would return last week, the feature was noticeably still absent when we looked at our Android devices on Saturday.

Thankfully, that’s no longer the case as Truphone has finally released an update mere hours ago that adds in this long missed functionality. The messaging feature was removed when Truphone version 5.0 was released one year ago, and there was no telling when the feature would arrive anew.

Messaging returned for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users back in September, but Android users were left wondering when the update would hit their smartphones and tablets. At least now the waiting is over and we can message our Truphone friends like we did early last year.

Get the new Truphone app update right here and let us know how it works for you in the comments below. Also, don’t forget to add our official account to your Truphone contacts. We’re always up for a chat!
