Our KakaoTalk for Android update list has been rather short as of late. The last update the app received was just a minor one back in September, after receiving an additional two updates earlier that week.
Mere hours ago, however, our Google Play alerts sprang to life, revealing not only a new update, but a pretty major one at that.
The latest update, version 4.1.0, includes a new photo editing feature that includes both filters and Kakao Friends stickers, both of which let you customize your photos to your heart’s content before sending them on to friends. The update also brings a revamped Item Store UI to make things look and feel a little smoother.
The update also includes:
- Other improvements and fixed bugs
- Additional design improvements to 4.0
- Fixed a problem where the emoticon keyboard did not appear in the chatroom
- Improved usability for lock screen
