Facebook Messenger, Messenger stickers, FB messaging

If you’re using Facebook’s Messenger for Android to stay in contact with your family and friends on the social network, you’ll be happy to know that an update (version 2.7.1) has just arrived that adds a number of new functions to the application.

First of all, the application is now available in four new languages starting with the latest update, including Croatian, Hungarian, Slovakian, and Traditional Chinese. Localization is very important to the success of all calling and messaging applications and Messenger is no exception.

Some new stickers are also now animated in messages, including Pusheen, Beast, and Anooki wave, dance, and wiggle. Of course, Android 4.0.2 or higher is required to be able to take advantage of these.

Bug fixes that the social network says are simply there to “increase reliability” round out the changes in the latest update for Android smartphones and tablets, which can be downloaded right now via Google Play.
