WhatsApp for Windows Phone isn’t the only one getting an update today. The Android version has also received a nice boost with version 2.11.136. Unlike the Windows Phone update, though, the newly-available Android version does pack a mean punch as far as changes go.

The most notable of these changes is the addition of both Ukranian and Belarusian languages, adding to the app’s already staggering lists of supported languages — and therefore the number of potential WhatsApp Messenger users. Localization and translation improvements are also part of the update package.

Users can look forward to some improvements to both audio and video messages as well as a few bug fixes that have been folded into the update, in addition to some “miscellaneous crash, bug, and ‘not responding’ fixes,” though WhatsApp’s official changelog does not clarify what exactly these bugs affected.
