Google Hangouts app, Hangouts, Google Plus

If you’re using Google Hangouts on Android, you should be able to download a new update to your smartphone or tablet device.

The update, version 2.0.2, doesn’t really change much, so don’t get your hopes up; you’ll have to keep waiting for the next big thing to hit Google’s calling and messaging app. That being said, the update does add some notable improvements and tweaks to the application aimed at providing more options and improving the user experience.

Specifically, the new version includes some fixes for MMS sending and receiving. The feature was added to Android devices merely a month ago, so it’s understandable that there are bound to be a few bugs here and there.

The update also adds the ability for users to turn off group MMS messaging in Settings to send SMS to multiple people.

You can find the latest Google Hangouts update in Google Play if you haven’t already downloaded it. Let us know in the comments how the new version works for you.
