Nimbuzz for PC, Nimbuzz desktop, messaging app

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen a peep of Nimbuzz’s messaging app for Windows PC getting any major updates. The last update occurred way back in August and brought a list of improvements to desktop users, though most of these were really very minor.

Thankfully, though, the PC app’s update dry spell is over; users might be happy to know that Nimbuzz has decided to relaunch “Popular Chatrooms” back into the application, giving users a chance to interact with a large number of fellow Nimbuzzers in one place.

Popular Chatrooms allow Nimbuzzers to interact en masse.

Of course that’s just one of the changes the new Nimbuzz (version 2.8.0) has to offer. Other major changes and improvements include performance optimizations that allow for faster loading of user contact lists, some chat conversation and video calling improvements, and an enhancement to the app’s notification alerts.

Overall performance improvements to the app’s connectivity, user interface, and other bug fixes round out the latest changes in the new release, which can be downloaded via the Nimbuzz website.
