Viber for Android, VoIP for Android Smartphones, Messaging for Android Tablets

There has been great demanded from the Viber community for the ability to block phone numbers or contacts from being able to message or call. Finally, this feature has become available for Android devices as of the latest update.

The new update allows up to 10 photos to be sent simultaneously

That’s not all the new update brings to the table, however. Users are now also able to send up to 10 photos at the same time and customize their message and call sounds. There’s also now a new photo and video media gallery within conversations along with improvements and bug fixes.

Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on when the number blocking will make the trip to additional platforms, but we suspect iOS won’t be too far behind, and hopefully Windows Phone users will be able to benefit from a new update as well.

Get the new Viber version 4.2.0.1656 here or alternatively, select the “Update” button directly from within the Google Play Store on your device.
