WhatsApp for Windows Phone, WP Live Tiles, WinPhone messaging apps

In addition to media download features and “last seen” controls coming to WhatsApp Messenger for Windows Phone in the future, an additional new feature coming soon for Microsoft’s mobile OS has also been discovered: broadcast lists.

WhatsApp members will be able to edit and view broadcast lists as well as pin them to their Start Screens

An upcoming version of WhatsApp will support the viewing and editing of broadcast lists, including renaming the lists and adding members to lists with a maximum of 50 allowable at a time. In addition, users will also be able to pin lists to their Start Screen, a feature exclusive to Windows Phone.

This latest update brings the WhatsApp messaging client up to date with its iOS and Android counterparts and in some ways even surpasses them (pinning lists, for instance, is very useful). You can see a few screenshots of what you can expect from the upcoming update (obtained via Nokia Power User) below.
