WhatsApp, WhatsApp for BB10, BlackBerry 10 messaging apps

Not too long ago, WhatsApp for Android got some privacy settings that allow users to see who can view their “last seen” status on the messaging application. While we are also awaiting the same soon-to-arrive changes on Windows Phone, WhatsApp has gone ahead and updated their BlackBerry 10 client with those settings in their latest release.

A new darker theme joins Russian language support and more on the BB10 platform

Specifically, WhatsApp for BlackBerry 10 adds the aforementioned new settings along with a new, darker theme that seems to fit the look of the OS better than the default theme. Profile photo and status settings have also been implemented as well. Another notable addition is that of Russian language support.

Some UI tweaks have also been introduced as can be immediately noticed from looking at the app’s conversation bubbles. New chat management options round out this rather long list of additions to the new WhatsApp for BB10, which is now available in BlackBerry World.
