Viber, Windows Phone 8.1, WP8

If you’ve got the desire to help beta test new versions of Viber, now’s your chance! Viber is recruiting some new Windows Phone 8 beta testers via its Facebook page in order to improve the app’s calling and messaging features. The fact that the company is publicly looking for beta testers could signal big things ahead.

Since launching voice on Windows Phone last year, Viber has certainly done a lot to improve its app, which was limited to messaging only prior to April 2013. It’s initial release on the platform was way back in May 2012.

On Facebook, Viber says they are looking for Windows Phone users with:

  • A strong desire to improve Viber for WP8
  • A keen eye for detail, time to dedicate to bug reporting and completing a short feedback survey
  • And, of course, a device running WP8

If you feel like you possess these qualities, head over to this page to get yourself signed up. We’ve already signed up ourselves and will report on any new changes forthcoming to Windows Phone users.

What do you hope to see in future versions? Sound off in the comments or let the community know in the Forums!
