Nimbuzz for Windows Phone, Nimbuzz Update, Windows Phone news and updates

Any Nimbuzzers running the popular chat app on their Windows Phone devices have been treated to a nice little update this morning that makes the overall chat experience quite a bit more pleasurable, particularly if you use the file sharing feature and chat rooms (which probably makes up the majority of you).

Nimbuzz says the “entire process of file sharing” for Windows Phone users will now be “much faster on both 2G and 3G networks.” You can share a file to your friends by selecting the file and then selecting send and your friends should receive the file in a fraction of the time. Nimbuzz also allows you to share images right from your photo gallery; you no longer need to go through the entire process of attaching an image before sharing it.

As for the app’s Chat Rooms, they’ve gained filters and advanced search options that should help you find the perfect chat room in which to engage like-minded users.

Of course, what’s an update without a little bug spray? The new update fixes some of these as well, though Nimbuzz didn’t specify which bugs were part of the update.

Get the new update right here. How is the new version working for you compared to the old one? Let us know in the comments below and in the Forums!
