If you’re wanting to experience imo instant messenger in a new perspective, now you can with the release of the company’s Amazon Fire Phone application.

The new imo.im for the Fire Phone features Dynamic Perspective improvements with a 3D icon that’s viewable in both grid and carousel views. The latter also includes a message notification badge and widget that lets your preview your messages. Youc an also utilize the tilt gesture to open the right panel of the app for easy access to recent chats.

imo follows a number of additonal calling and messaging apps that have released their own apps on the device. The first was Tango, which was followed by TextMe, Kik and most recently Skype. There are also other applications that do work on the device’s version of Android OS, though they don’t take advantage of the Fire Phone’s new features like the aforementioned do.
