It’s summer, and that probably means you’re spending a great deal of time outdoors doing the usual camping, fishing, swimming, and lazing about. Or maybe you’re like me and you’re stuck indoors working.
Either way, if you’re using KakaoTalk on your Android device, you’ll be happy to know that South Korea’s star company has released a summertime theme specifically to celebrate the summer season.
Dubbed the Summer Story theme, the new look gives your chats a bit of a tropical appearance, as you can see in the screenshot. While it’s no day at the beach, it at least gives your conversations a fresh new look and feel that should come in handy for those cold winter months when you wish it was summer.
The latest update also adds improved notification settings and some additional bug fixes as well. You can get the new update using this QR code. As for the theme, you can download it via Google Play.
