Viber for Windows Phone, free world calls, low cost international long distance

Not too long ago, voice messaging found its way to Windows Phone through the Viber app and now a new update has already been released that brings a new feature and some improvements as well.

Viber version 4.2.2 brings a new default background to Viber and also brings some bug fixes and performance improvements along for the update ride as well.

These are the only changes in the new version of Viber on WP, which has seen a great deal of popularity on Microsoft’s mobile OS. A quick search in the social apps within the store shows Viber ranking in the top ten alongside Facebook Messenger, Skype, BBM, and Kik.

Viber also recently passed the 400 million account mark when taking all platforms on which the app appears into consideration.

If you haven’t already received the new Viber update, you can download it from Windows Phone Store for free using this QR code.
