Candy Crush Saga, Weixin WeChat, QQ

Candy Crush Saga (by King Digital Entertainment Plc) is now officially available on Tencent’s Mobile QQ and Weixin — the Chinese equivalent of WeChat — platforms. With this latest update, millions of users in China will be able to tap into the candy crushing craze on both Android and iOS platforms.

As a leading Internet service company in China and Asia, Tencent provides a rich portfolio of online and mobile products to its users, with one of Tencent’s key areas being mobile games. Total revenues generated from smart phone games integrated with Mobile QQ and Weixin increased sequentially to approximately RMB3 billion for the second quarter of 2014. Tencent has also been named the number one publisher in China’s iOS App Store for free downloads in the first half of 2014.

Candy Crush Saga was available for Android starting this month on the WeChat gaming platform, which launched a little more than a year ago on iOS and Android.

WeChat is available on most major mobile platforms.
