WhatsApp Messenger, iPhone 6 apps, iPhone 6 Plus optimized

An update was just released for WhatsApp Messenger that optimizes the messaging application for the oversized iPhone 6/Plus so it no longer looks “stretched” or grossly large.

The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, which were introduced back in September, sport new, larger screens (4.7 inch and 5.5 inch screens, respectively) that, while optimal for easier viewing, also had the unfortunate side effect of making some apps look somewhat huge. The new version, version 2.11.14, fixes this problem, allowing you to see more of your conversations and messages on screen.

The changelog for the new release notes how the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus support has been rolled out and also notes that it will also “fix bugs and crashes” that plagued earlier versions of the software.

Aside from that, it’s the same WhatsApp Messenger you’ve always known and loved on iOS. You can get the latest version by tapping on or scanning this QR code.
