Skype for Mac, Skype app, calling and messaging

Skype for Android isn’t the only version to get an update today. The Skype client for Mac has also received a new update, wich should make readability a little better for users.

Skype has adjusted color contrast in chats in order to make it easier to read. The messaging and calling app provider has also fixed several top crash issues to make the app more stable and improve the overall user experience. The full list of features and fixes include both app-based and account-based fixes.

App-based fixes include:

  • Crash when changing profile picture
  • Crash in welcome tour when playing test sound and navigating to the next page
  • Crash when launching Skype with Ecamm Call Recorder 2.5.11 installed

In addition, Skype also fixed the cell phone number and Send SMS buttons on contact profile pages, which had previously not worked for many users.
