LINE, LINE app games, LINE Game

If you’re a big fan of Sonic Dash S on the LINE gaming platform, you’ll be sad to discover that it and 14 other 3rd party games have been removed by LINE.

The target=”_blank”>announcement came just this morning and represents the second time this year that the platform has undergone the “spring cleaning.”

The reason for the removal? The company said the games were closed to “focus its resources on titles that are enjoying greater growth in order to further propel the service as a global gaming platform.” They’ll focus on games such as LINE Dozer and the just-released LINE Trio.

The LINE gaming platform launched in November 2012, and the company said this month it had accumulated 470 million downloads on its gaming platform this month.

the games were closed to “focus its resources on titles that are enjoying greater growth in order to further propel the service as a global gaming platform.”
