Android messaging apps, Social apps, Kik messenger cards and friends

After rolling out spam control features as well as some enhancements for Kik videos, the popular messaging app has again been updated to allow its users to save their “pics and vids” while still in a conversation window.

Directly from you chat screen, simply tap and hold to save photos and videos to your device’s gallery. This works on both the iPhone and Android versions of the application, both of which were updated today.

iPhone users also got a little more love today. While the Android version only received the aforementioned feature alongside the iPhone app, the Apple version also gained a new bug fix that fixed a problem where the text field in a chat was cut off during an active call or personal hotspot. In addition, the iPhone version also received a performance boost of some kind. Let us know in the comments if you notice a significant difference.
