Skype stickers, Skype Mojis, VoIP and IM social apps

Skype has just updated its Android app to version 6.2, which adds the ability to share your location and also speeds up the process for sharing photos.

Inside any conversation window, you can see a brand new media bar that replaces the old “+” button, though all of the options you had before are still present. You can access the new location sharing feature via this toolbar as well, making sharing a lot easier with the new update.

Finally, Skype also added in a number of bug fixes and performance improvements.

That’s not the only thing to launch from Skype today. The messaging service is also getting some new Muppet-injected stickers called Mojis, which provide you with a new way to express yourself on Skype.

The new Mojis are similar to stickers from other messaging apps in that they let you show emotion like no emoticon can. The Mojis can be found in your emoticon bin. You can browse by movie or expression and add the Mojis to your chats with a single tap.
