LocalSIMKad offers local prepaid SIM cards for global travelers for a variety of destinations, allowing users to stay connected to friends, family, and business associates overseas. The service is part of SEDANIA, a company that was founded by Datuk Azrin Mohd Noor in 2002. The LocalSIMKad service itself has been active since 2011.

The name of Localsimkad itself is a representation of “a company providing services, products & solutions that focus on the emerging needs of today’s travelers” according to the company. The company also specializes in Marketing and Business Development in the travel and tourism industry.

Under Datuk Azrin’s leadership, SEDANIA has grown steadily since 2002 with offices in Indonesia, Bangladesh, Indochina, Singapore, Philippines and Thailand. LocalSIMKad expanded to the U.S. in June 2013 via an MVNO roaming agreement with T-Mobile USA.
