Viber on Android, Viber Calling, Viber Messaging Friends

Version 3.0 for Android and iOS was the biggest update that the popular Viber app has received in quite awhile, and likely will be the biggest for quite some time. That’s not to say important features are in the timeline, however, and who could forget about all those all-important bug fixes and performance improvements?

The latter is exactly what Android users received this weekend with the release of Viber version 3.0.2.5. Specifically, the bug fixes aren’t broken down in detail, and we really haven’t noticed anything substantially different in repeated tests on multiple devices. This indicates that the update was one that fixed very minor issues, though some users say they are still having problems sending pictures and with contacts syncing correctly, neither of which were present on our devices.

Have you noticed an issue that was there before but is no longer inflicting your device? Or are there some other issues you’re having with the newest version of the app? Let us know in the comments!
