TextMe is a mobile messaging application headquartered in San Francisco, California. The app is currently available for download on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices.
TextMe, Inc. was created in March 2011 with the vision “to empower anybody to turn any connected device into a full-blown, fully featured communication device offering free IM, text messaging, voice and video calling.” The company rolled out free SMS to the UK in August 2013.
TextMe is one of the first large communication applications to be available on Google Glass and Pebble Watch. Since its launch, more than 16 millions users signed up for TextMe.
