Simplistic controls mix with moderate difficulty
Like many games on LINE’s gaming platform, LINE GO!GO!GO! is very pick-up-and-play. Rather than make things overly difficult, the games on the LINE app instead opt into making the games easy to pick up and put down while also making it more accessible to gamers of all difficulty levels.
In LINE GO!GO!GO!, players simply steer or jump to dodge cars in front while trying to reach each checkpoint to keep their fuel from reaching the dreaded “empty.” The fuel decreases gradually as players race down the course; of course, the game ends if the fuel runs out. While the checkpoints serve to refuel your tanks, they also provide bonus points. The object of the game is, of course, to score as many points as possible by conquering as many cars and as much distance as you can.
There are some interesting elements within the game that help you on your quest for a higher score. Drafting is possible by driving behind other cars, which understandably helps increase speed and lower fuel consumption. You can also score a few extra points by getting as many near-misses in a row as possible with the game’s “Go!” combo (hence the name of the game). You can also overtake a rival vehicle (shown with an exclamation mark above it) to increase your score even more. You can then use the Gold and trophies you earn to buy different drivers and over 50 different cars with different abilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
Multiplayer rankings are just one aspect of the game’s social interactivity
As for the multiplayer aspect, players can compete with friends in top score rankings and can also sent them Tires to help them out. Friendship Points, obtained by posting your high scores on your LINE Timeline, can be used to get even more items and cars from the game’s “Gacha machine.”
