If you’re using Tango’s communication platform to keep in touch with your family and friends, now’s your chance to score a cool $5,000 for doing what you’re probably already doing anyway: sharing your photos.
Here’s how it works. Of course, you’ll want to first make sure you’ve updated Tango to the latest version if you haven’t already. From there, you’ll have to step out of the shadows a bit and make your profile accessible to the public. Once you’ve done so, it’s time to get creative.

Your next step is to take a photo, but not just any photo. For this particular contest, you have to “take a photo showing how Tango has touched your life and made it better” and then you have to post that photo in the app’s News Feed by 11:59pm PT on March 19, which gives you about 6 days to show off your mad photo shooting and Tango-loving skills. But that’s not all there is to it, either.
Now you have to get your friends to help give you a leg up by commenting on your photo. Why? Well, first of all, because that’s what being part of a social circle is all about. Most importantly, though, the finalists will be picked out of the photos with the “most unique and positive comments,” which means you better make sure your friends are leaving you something worthwhile. And, hey, offering a free cup of Starbucks might go a long way in helping to solidify your goals. If they won’t do it, you need new friends I know a certain writer who would gladly accommodate you.
