Rebtel for Android, Rebtel calling and messaging, Android apps

When last we visited Rebtel for Android smartphones and tablets, the app had just enabled a free first-call ability that let users take the app’s VoIP features for a spin without having to sign up for an account. Now the company says it’s “time for a better and improved Rebtel app for all our Android users.”

Rebtel, Rebtel for Android, Messaging and VoIP

Rebtel announced the new version of its Android app this morning, showing off a new, cleaner design that’s targeted at improving the overall user experience. With a new menu view, you can now see your credit and minutes left in your account a lot easier, and you can also expect faster navigation, with your Favorites added to the top of your contacts list so they are within easier access. In addition, the chat conversation windows have a less-cluttered look.

You can download the new Rebtel for Android via Google Play. What do you think of the app’s new look and feel?
