We have been getting a few questions in our inbox as to when Tru will be bringing local numbers and rates to Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and other countries through their popular Tru SIM service.
Tru SIM local numbers are currently available in the US, the UK, and Australia, though the GSM service itself does work in over 230 countries and can help customers not only save thousands in roaming charges on their phone bills while traveling internationally, but it also helps loved ones living in different countries stay in contact with people who matter most without being tied to a Wi-Fi or 3G/4G connection.
To date, however, local rates and numbers are only available in the aforementioned three countries. At this time, it is unclear as to when exactly local numbers will be available in Spain and other countries, but we will keep our eyes open for any new information regarding these announcements.
