Update: Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ is now available in the Google Play store. Ships in “1-2 weeks”.
Things aren’t going so well for consumers caught in the middle of a seemingly endless attempt by Apple to douse its competitors flames just as they have begun to rise. However, some (temporary) good news for consumers in the United States as the <a href="sales ban imposed on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in the country has been temporarily put on hold.
Judge Lucy Koh has granted Samsung‘s request the temporary halt to the ban while waiting on Apple’s response, which is due on July 12th. That’s not doesn’t give a large window for Google, but it nevertheless can resume selling the smartphone on its Google Play store for several more days before there’s a more definitive consideration on the merits of a preliminary injunction.
The phone is still being listed on Google Play as “coming soon,” but customers may be able to purchase the device again in only a matter of hours.
